The Yoga Shala offers monthly workshops designed to help students deepen their understanding and experience of Ashtanga Yoga. Each workshop provides an opportunity to explore key elements of the practice, refine techniques, and expand your knowledge in a supportive, hands-on environment. The Yoga Shala's Ashtanga focused workshops are led by Krista Shirley, a Level II Authorized Ashtanga Yoga Instructor and owner of The Yoga Shala. Whether you're new to Ashtanga or an experienced practitioner, our monthly workshops offer personalized guidance to enhance your practice and foster growth on and off the mat.

Mysore Mysore Style Ashtanga Yoga offers a unique and personalized approach to your practice. In this self-led class, you move through the Ashtanga series at your own pace, receiving one-on-one guidance and adjustments from an experienced teacher. Whether you're a beginner learning the sequence or an advanced practitioner deepening your practice, Mysore style allows you to grow and evolve at your own level. The individualized instruction ensures that you receive the support you need, while the communal energy of the class inspires and motivates. Mastering Transitions Exploring Jump-Throughs, Jump-Backs, and more! In this workshop, we'll delve into the physical practice of Ashtanga Yoga, where movement, breath, and gaze come together in a meditative, rhythmic flow. You'll get a taste of both the Primary and Intermediate Series, with a special focus on transitions like jump-throughs, jump-backs, chakrasana, and more.
