Eliminate pain. Erase the signs of aging. activate living. Feel fantastic.
The MELT Method is a revolutionary new self-treatment technique that empowers you to release accumulated tension and stress, reduce chronic pain, slow and reverse the signs of aging, and heighten your own body's ability to repair and heal itself. It is a safe, rehabilitative method that uses gentle compression to re-hydrate your connective tissue and re-balance your nervous system. The results that MELT provides were previously available only through ongoing, costly visits with hands on therapists. MELT empowers you to become your own hands off body worker. This workshop will introduce participants to the MELT Method techniques in a 90 minute class. The effects of MELT are immediate, but with regular MELT-ing, you will learn to affect long lasting changes in your body that will help you stay youthful and active for a lifetime.

Katrina is a passionate Pilates and MELT Method Instructor. She has over 19 years of experience in the Authentic Classical Pilates method and a very diverse background in exercise and movement. Originally from Chicago, she began studying both dance and martial arts at a very young age. She is a graduate of the Comprehensive Classical Pilates Training Program at Core Pilates NYC, completing over 600 hours of practice and study. After completing her Pilates certification, she worked and studied under master teacher, Peter Roël, where she spent a full year learning to teach Pilates for special populations, injuries, and rehabilitation. She was introduced to the MELT Method at CorePilates NYC and decided to seek out her certification with the creator, Sue Hitzmann, and her MELT Master Trainers after seeing amazing personal results from MELT, and learning what a great compliment it is to a regular yoga, Pilates, or other fitness practice.
